Terms

Published 2026-07-09 · Updated 2026-07-09

Applying through the form on this site means you have read and accept the points below. OpChats is a hiring pipeline for remote chat-operator and translator roles, not a marketplace or investment product.

Age and honesty

You must be 18 or older to apply. Everything you enter — your name, your contact, your claimed English level — needs to be true. An offer built on inaccurate information can be withdrawn at any point once we find out.

The numbers on this site

Grade ranges and the OpChats average income figure shown across this site come from what our own roster of 75+ operators actually earned — real numbers, not a target. What a specific person makes still swings on their grade, hours logged, and consistency, so no figure on this site is a promise about your own paycheck.

How review works

Roughly one submission in 15 moves forward — most don't, and that's a normal part of a selective process, not a reflection on you. We look at how you write and respond in a live practice exchange during selection, not a résumé. We may decline an application, end training early, or close a slot at any stage without owing an explanation for the call.

No employment, no fees

Working through us runs on a contractor basis, not an employment contract — no salary, no benefits, taxes are on you under the rules of wherever you live. Nothing about applying, training, or getting to work ever costs you money; anyone claiming otherwise in our name is not us.

Reading this site

Pages on OpChats — job descriptions, the salary breakdown, the FAQ — are written to inform, not as a binding offer or financial guidance. The specific terms of any actual role are set once, in writing, when an offer goes out.

Changes

These terms can be revised as the program evolves. Whatever "Updated" stamp sits above is the version currently in force.
